Rafa Alvarez is a Spanish illustrator living and working in Berlin. After receiving his MFA in Illustration as Visual Essay at the School of Visual Arts of New York, he starts working as illustrator for magazines and television mostly in the US and Germany. Among other clients, his work can be seen regularly in the pages of ESPN Magazine, Billboard, Der Tagesanzeiger, Men´s Health, The Hollywood Reporter, The New York Times, Süddeutsche Zeitung or The Boston Globe. On top of his editorial works, he provides on demand animated content for German NDR Television and has recently designed “The Undetectables”, a series of characters and social comics for NY non-profit Housing Works. His list of awards include Illustrative Festival Berlin (finalist), Behance Talent Search (Winner 2013), American Illustration, IMAA, 3×3, CQ and SVA´s Paula Rhodes memorial.
After relocating the studio to Berlin, Rafa has given lectures about art in mobile devices at Apple´s flagship store and taught Digital Illustration at BTK Berlin (University of Applied Arts).
Kyle T Webster is an international award-winning illustrator, living in North Carolina, who has drawn for The New Yorker, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, Entertainment Weekly, Scholastic, Nike, IDEO, and many other distinguished editorial, advertising, publishing and institutional clients. He has created two top 50 mobile games, and he is the founder of KyleBrush.com, the company behind the world’s best-selling Photoshop brushes for professional concept artists, illustrators, animators, and designers.
Kyle also currently teaches Life Drawing, Portraiture, and Digital Painting at the UNC School of the Arts.
