SVA in LA: The Film & Animation Behind-the-Scenes Series

This unique program offers students the opportunity to visit film and animation studios in the Hollywood area and interact directly with some of today’s leading film and animation artists who create and shape the work we see on both the big screen and television.
Past studio visits include: (Disney Animation, Dreamworks, Cartoon Network, Paramount Pictures and Fox Studios). Students will learn directly from leading visual artists who will discuss their roles in the filmmaking process and share their professional experiences.
Past guest speakers include: Academy Award-winning makeup artist Joel Harlow, (Pirates of The Caribbean, Inception ), Academy Award-winning music composer Michael Giacchino, (Inside Out, Star Trek: Beyond), director Bryan Singer ( X-Men: Apocalypse Valkyrie), producer Jason Blum, (Paranormal Activity), producer Randall Emmett, (Lone Survifor, Silence), Academy Award winning sound recordist, Mark Ulano, (The Hateful Eight, Titanic), director Morten Tyldum, (The Immitation Game, Passengers)
Tuition includes: Double-occupancy hotel accommodations, daily breakfast, transportation to all studio visits, welcome and farewell dinners, panel lunch. Guest speakers are subject to change. Airfare not included.
