Film, Theatre and Acting: Summer Program at the Ulysses Theatre on the Brijuni Islands in Croatia

Spend an exciting two weeks immersed in an extraordinary theatre and film program at the renowned Ulysses Theatre located on the idyllic island of Mali Brijuni off the coast of Istria, Croatia. Participants will have the opportunity to work on the upcoming theatre production of King Lear, learn from the masters of acting, directing, theatre and film production as well as attend two major international film festivals, the Pula and the Motovun.
Classes are held Monday through Saturday and include lectures, participation in rehearsals as well as acting and directing exercises for theatre and festival productions. Performances at the Ulysses Theatre, screenings at the Pula and Motovun film festivals, and festival receptions are all part of the program, as well as field trips to historic and nature sites around the Brijuni islands and Istria.
Tuition includes single-room accommodations located in the port of Veliki Brijuni; three meals daily at the Ulysses Theatre restaurant; bicycles for transportation around Veliki Brijuni; boat and bus transfers during the program; excursions and guided tours of Pula, Rovinj and Motovun; admission to the Brijuni National Park and all film festival activities.
